The Stoughton Area Resource Team, Inc. (START) provides a safety net for those in crisis. Recently, a 30-year old single father of two struggled to find work, to pay for daycare for his children and to secure a home; so much time was spent homeless and hopeless.

Outdoor Sign Replacement with Solar Lighting - 2024 Amount Funded: $1,000.00
We have a cost estimate from Inkworks for the 2 signs (for each side) as well as the cost of the 2 solar panel lights for each sign. The signs will be ordered upon receipt of funds and installed as soon as weather permits. Signage will help Stoughton residents become aware of our services.
Our outdoor signage was purchased several years ago. Not only has it faded to the point of being nearly invisible from a distance, but the design itself is in need of updating to enhance visibility. The purchase of solar lighting will allow students to find us in the evening, when many classes are held. We have a volunteer who is willing to install the signs and lighting. Aside from assisting current students with wayfinding, this project will enhance visibility for motorists and pedestrians.
